We work with individuals ages 14 to 24 who may need extra support transitioning into the workforce, continuing their education, or preparing for a career. Our goal is to help you develop valuable skills, gain real-world experience, and create a path toward long-term success.
Our Youth Services Include:
- Career exploration and one-on-one guidance
- Resume writing and interview preparation
- Job search assistance and work readiness training
- Paid and unpaid work experiences
- Support for earning a high school diploma or GED
- Assistance with enrolling in post-secondary education or training
- Help with transportation, childcare, and other barriers to employment
We also partner with local schools, training providers, and community organizations to offer hands-on opportunities that give you the tools and experience you need to thrive in today’s job market.
Eligible participants may qualify for services through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program, which focuses on individuals who are out of school or face barriers to employment, such as homelessness, parenting, low income, or involvement in the justice system.
Our team is here to meet you where you are—whether you're just starting out or need help finding direction. We'll work with you to build a customized plan based on your goals and interests.

CCMEP is a program combining components of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Work Force Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) intended to give low income youth and young adults valuable work experience. In a joint effort between Human Services and OhioMeansJobs an active approach will be taken to help remove barriers that may be contributing to poverty and unemployment. Our agency will provide access to supportive services and programs that are intended to help with job placement and facilitate job retention.
